Last Comments version 1.2 is now out. It features a menu bar at the top that allows visitors to show or hide the list of comments at their pleasure, with control for blog owners over which state the gadget starts out in: showing the comments, or keeping them hidden. To start the gadget with the comments hidden, put an uppercase "X" at the very front of the Display List (do not put a space after it). A big "Thank You" to John Loftus who came up with and suggested this feature and other styling refinements.
The menu bar also features a link to the Last Comments User Manual (which has a "nofollow" tag so it will not affect page rankings of this blog) and a reload button that will update the comment list for readers without them having to refresh the entire blog.
